Michael HollandWorship Pastor
The Official Bio
Michael was born in Pinehurst, NC, and lived in the small town of Red Springs for the first few years of his life. His family moved to Charlotte, NC, where his father served as Music Minister of a large church downtown. Michael's passion for music was fostered at a very early age, as he was involved in a local children choir, and began playing the violin. After a painful experience with one of the strings on the violin (and after hearing Maurice Murphy's incredible sound on the trumpet in the Star War's films), Michael decided to follow in his father's footsteps and play a more "manly" instrument. This instrument led him all the way to Lexington, Ky, where he was recruited to play at the University of Kentucky. He is currently finishing up dual degrees in Trumpet Performance and Business Finance, and lives in Lexington with his beautiful wife, Tembre.
